Twenties Group

Twenties Group is a social and discussion group for gay, bisexual, transgendered and questioning men in their twenties. They provide a safe environment for people to meet and discuss topics related to the community, make new friends and activity partners, and to explore and discover new areas of interest. They meet on a weekly basis and have a discussion hour, mingle and get to know each other and then head out to a local restaurant, coffee shop or bar for food or drinks.

Us Helping Us specializes in HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care services for black gay and bisexual men, and transgender persons. UHU provides holistic health information to people living with HIV/AIDS. UHU teaches traditional natural holistic approaches -- involving the body, mind and spirit -- for HIV health maintenance. Towards HIV prevention UHU organizes street outreach, "down low" programming through helpline phone contact, on-line, and barbershop networking.

The Blade is the Washington area's LGBT newspaper, which provides comprehensive local, national, and international news and information regarding issues of interest to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered individuals. The Blade is free of charge and publishes every Friday; there is a drop-off location on campus where copies may be obtained, located in a newspaper box near Student Union I.
