9th Annual LGBTQA Symposium

Every year, LGBTQ Resources collaborates with other universities in the area for the DC LGBTQA conference. This year we held the conference on George Mason’s Campus for the first time.

Welcome to George Mason’s Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, & Questioning Resources Office

Greetings from the Office!

The Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, & Questioning (LGBTQ) Resources is part of University Life’s Multicultural Education and Research Coalition at George Mason University. Starting in 2002, the Office of LGBTQ Resources has worked for and with the LGBTQ and ally community on George Mason’s campus to create an environment that is welcoming and conducive to learning

All Gender Bathrooms at Mason

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning (LGBTQ) Campus Climate Task Force, established in Spring 2011 by University Life and supported by the Provost’s Office and Mason administration, spent 18 months reviewing the issues and concerns across the university for students who are part of the LGBTQ community. One of the projects this task force undertook was locating the all gender bathrooms at Mason. The LGBTQ Campus Climate Task Force created a list of these bathrooms in order to make these facilities more visible to faculty, staff and students. The list of all gender bathrooms can be found here.
