LGBTQ+ Resources Center

Lambda Awards

The LGBTQ+ Resources Center is pleased to share details for the 2025 Lambda Awards, where we honor LGBTQ+ student leaders who are impacting our community positively. We are excited to help students make the clear connection between advocacy work in queer, trans, non-binary, and LGBTQ+ communities at George Mason to whatever their next step is, whether that is participating in next month’s Lavender & Women and Gender Studies Graduation, securing an internship, or planning their next semester of classes.

We hope you can join us to recognize George Mason students who are doing amazing things at a “casual semi-formal” event! Our 2025 Lambda Awardees include Emerging Leaders, Trailblazers, and Possibility Models. We will be serving a light dinner and dessert during the formal recognition program. Please come as you are comfortable but be empowered to “dress up” in whatever affirming way that looks for you!
