Why Asynchronous?
As the Safe Zone+ Program is an evolving education and ally development program, we are hoping to engage with each member of the Mason community who wants to engage with us. Over Summer 2022, we developed an asynchronous version of the Intro to LGBTQ+ Communities session that you can access on Blackboard and engage with at your own pace.

Learning Outcomes
Folks who participate in the Intro to LGBTQ+ Communities asynchronous module will be able to:
- Distinguish between gender and sexuality
- Give examples of non-gendered language
- Identify examples of allyship
